WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Choosing your florals for any event is one of the most important aspects of your planning. Flowers help set the overall tone of any event, but especially wedding ceremonies and receptions. It is also a team effort, so it is important to do your research before you meet with perspective florist. You will have to work closely with them and trust them to give advice and guide you through the mass amounts of flowers and arrangements to choose from.
TIPS
- Look for flowers that will last the length of your event.
- Ask about flowers that are known allergens.
- Bring swatches of the colors you are using to the meeting with the florist to ensure that the colors will not clash.
- Bring sample images of arrangements you like to the meeting with the florist.
